App Store Information

Account Data
Retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days after deletion to allow for account recovery.
Usage and Analytics Data
Typically retained in identifiable form for up to 12 months, then aggregated or anonymized.
Transaction Records
Retained for up to 7 years as required for tax and legal compliance.
Support Communications
Retained for up to 3 years to provide ongoing support and improve our service.
When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

In the past 12 months, we have collected identifiers (email, device IDs), internet activity information (usage data), and inferences (preferences).

We disclose identifiers and internet activity information to our service providers for the purposes described in Section 6.
11. Children's Privacy
Sideline is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at geordi@sideline-app.com, and we will take steps to delete such information.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
12. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as video highlight providers). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the App.
13. Push Notifications
We use push notifications to deliver game updates, scores, and other information based on your preferences. Push notifications are processed through Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
You can disable push notifications at any time through:
- The App's notification settings
- Your device's system settings
Disabling notifications will not affect other functionality of the App.
14. Analytics and Tracking
We use analytics tools to understand how users interact with our App. These tools may collect:
- App usage patterns
- Feature engagement
- Crash reports and performance data
- Aggregated demographic information
We use this information to improve the App and do not use it to personally identify individual users for advertising purposes.
We do not:
- Display third-party advertisements in the App
- Share your data with advertising networks
- Create advertising profiles based on your activity
15. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no common understanding of how to interpret DNT signals, the App does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, you can control tracking through your device settings and the choices described in this policy.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Notify you through the App or via email (for significant changes)
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
