Why I'm building Sideline

I follow teams across three continents, from the Maple Leafs & Packers, Hammarby and the Highlanders - all of which span leagues and time zones. At some point I realized I was spending more time hunting for scores, figuring out schedules, and piecing together what happened than actually enjoying any of it.

Every app I tried was either drowning in betting ads, sending notifications for things I didn't care about, or treating one league like it mattered and ignoring the rest.

So I built something for the way I actually follow sports — across leagues, across continents, without the noise.

I'm a developer by day, and Sideline's been my evenings and weekends for the past couple of months. It's just me, so the roadmap is basically "whatever makes following your teams easier."
